Profiteroles Christmas Tree

Ingredients:
For the choux buns:
125 ml water
125 ml milk
100 g butter
150 g flour
4 eggs
1 pinch of salt
For the pastry cream (filling):
500 ml milk
4 egg yolks
100 g sugar
40 g cornstarch
1 vanilla pod (or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract)
100 ml whipped cream (optional, to lighten the cream)
For assembly and decoration:
200 g melted dark chocolate
Icing sugar, for a “snow” effect
Colored sugar chips, silver pearls or vermicelli for decoration
Caramel or melted chocolate, to stick the choux buns together
