Sauce for cake:

1 stick butter

1 cup Brown Sugar

1/4 c canned milk

1 tsp vanilla.

Cook in heavy saucepan until a slow boil. Stir constantly approx 2 minutes and 30seconds. Pour glaze over slightly warm cake.
