•600ml water •1tsp salt •100gr TVP (textured vegetable protein) •3tbsp soy sauce •1tbsp vinegar •1/2 red chili pepper (about 5gr) •2 garlic cloves •1tsp ginger powder •1/2tsp pepper •1tsp paprika powder •2tsp tomato paste •1tsp onion powder •3tbsp water sunflower oil (enough to cover the bottom of a large pan)

So TVP is short for textured vegetable protein and it’s made from soy. They are these hard dry pieces that you need to rehydrate and then you can use them however you like.

Add the tsp of salt to the 600ml of water and bring this to a boil. Once this boils turn of the stove and add the TVP pieces to this. Cover the pan with a lid and let this soak for 10 minutes so the TVP pieces can rehydrate.
